Roberto + Jamie | Edmonds Yacht Club Wedding Photographer
I had been looking forward to Roberto & Jamie’s Edmonds Yacht Club wedding since photographing their engagement session last fall. These two are the real deal: very much in love, best friends, fun-loving, and romantic. (Yes, I learned all of that while spending time with them on their engagement shoot!)
I knew I liked them when they brought out the Seahawks jerseys to wear for part of their engagement session!
Family is very important to Roberto & Jamie and I had been told that lots of family members would be involved in their wedding day. They weren’t kidding! When you have two families blending with a Mexican and Italian heritage, you’re in for something special. In fact, the bride and groom’s respective grandmothers provided the food for the reception. It doesn’t get more loving than that!
Their beautiful ceremony was held at Holy Rosary Parish in Edmonds, a large, lovely Catholic church with plenty of space to keep the bride and bridesmaids from seeing the groom and groomsmen before the wedding. Roberto’s first look at Jamie was when he saw his stunning bride escorted down the aisle by her father. Take a look at the big smile on his face–it says it all!
Their reception at the Edmonds Yacht Club was high-energy, full of games and laughter (not to mention delicious Italian and Mexican food and a mariachi band), and just plain fun, making it obvious that Roberto & Jamie have plenty of friends and family to wish them well in their new journey of marriage.
Later, we had time to slip away for some photos near the Edmonds ferry landing and out on the dock near the yacht club. What a glorious end to a magnificent day.
